Inspiration

Modern hanfu is an improved version of traditional Chinese clothing, also called as new hanfu, which is on the basis of Western-style clothing, formed by integrating the basic elements of traditional hanfu outfits. It is well adapted to the convenient social life in today’s modern times.

Looks great

The skirt is more stiff, so it holds its shape very well. The top is thin, but there's an inner layer sewed into the front to prevent it from being see-through. It was a little tight around my bust and there were a couple of loose threads, but it wasn't too significant. I was pleasantly surprised with the coverup. I was planning on wearing this as a 2-piece set instead of 3 because in one of my previous orders the coverup was too thin and came off as looking really cheap, but this one was less see-through and looked really nice. I included pictures of the inside of the skirt, the outfit as a 2-piece, and as the entire set.

For reference: I am 5 ft 3 in and 100 lb and ordered small.
